European Council on Foreign Relations
Julian Ringhof is a visiting fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations through Mercator Stiftung’s Mercator Fellowship on International Affairs programme. His research focuses on the nexus of geopolitics and technology development, European technological sovereignty, European and global digital policy and the development of an EU digital external policy. Previously Ringhof worked as an analyst and research manager in the field of autonomous and connected driving at the European Centre for Information and Communication Technologies and as an innovation and project manager at Fab Lab Berlin, a digital fabrication laboratory. He graduated with an MPhil in Technology Policy from the University of Cambridge and completed a dual BSc & BA in Mechanical Engineering at the University of San Diego.
